Custom Blinds

Hunter’s Design custom 1000 denier Cordura nylon Mossy Oak, Realtree, and True Timber boat blinds for duck hunting are just that. They are custom built to your specifications for your boat. We do not sell a “packaged product” that is designed to fit a wide variety of applications but never quite fits right. We try and match the frame of your blind to your style of hunting. Our typical applications are pole blinds with machined solid billet aluminum brackets with 5/16" aluminum plates or flip-over blinds. We consult with you on placement of frames, poles, and brackets to ensure they are exactly where you want them.

We are always open to new ideas and can accommodate many design specifications. In addition to our high quality frames, we offer 1000 denier Cordura camo materials in a wide selection of patterns from True Timber, Realtree, and Mossy Oak to match your typical hunting conditions. No lightweight or inexpensive polyesters go into our products. We typically stock True Timber Conceal, Mossy Oak Break Up, Mossy Oak Shadow Grass, and Realtree Max-4. If you are working on your own project and need material, we also sell and ship bulk material anywhere in the US. Minimum order is 10 yards. Visit our online store.

When you bring your boat to us, you have the ability to design the final product with us. We listen to your ideas and will be happy to share our experienced opinions with you. The ultimate goal is that you purchase a blind that meets your needs. Your hunting success and enjoyment is always our goal.

When comparing “packaged” catalog blinds to our custom blinds, ask yourself these 10 important buying points:

  1. Is the blind going to fit my boat perfectly or will I have to have someone alter it to make it work the way I need it to work?
  2. Is it made exactly for my boat or for a range of sizes similar to mine? Does a 16’-18’ blind REALLY fit my boat?
  3. Is the blind frame made from solid aluminum materials and stainless steel fasteners?
  4. Is the blind made with 1000 denier Cordura or a cheaper, lighter, shinier polyester material?
  5. Will the frame fit in the boat exactly where I need it to fit in order to accommodate hunters and dogs?
  6. Does the price include installation, rain tops, dog doors, and motor cover or do I have to pay more for these items?
Our price includes all of this.
  7. Is the blind backed by a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee for as long as I own it?
  8. Will I be able to discuss the type of hunting I do with the manufacturer and help in the design of the final product?
  9. Can I add creative touches to my blind that fit the type of hunting I do or do I have to be satisfied with the base product?
  10. Is the blind I am purchasing designed, manufactured, and installed in the United States or is it produced overseas and shipped here?

There is a major difference between custom blinds and packaged blinds. Before ordering an inferior, one size fits all product, call us and discuss your ideas. After you compare the differences, we believe you will be one of the 100’s of satisfied customers who own a custom blind from Hunter’s Design.
